All of us know that our country is being challenged by deception and confusion as never before. Public confession of faith in God is being threatened and in some cases removed. Opinions which deny the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus and His Kingdom are dominating more and more. Sin is rampant and God’s judgement looms over us.
For such a time as this, Mother Basilea’s most important message is:
As in our daily prayer times at Canaan in the Desert, we want to turn our eyes on our Risen and Victorious Lord, also at both our forthcoming retreats in CO and TX. Our theme is:
COLORADO Retreat Day: we have changed the venue, it is now:

We look forward to being with many of you, our dear friends,
as we share the hope of the Kingdom of the Lord.
Greeting you with one of our favorite “Victory Songs”:
We have a glorious hope, a hope that cannot die:
Amidst defeat Christ’s kingdom in triumph will arise.
Lord, You are Love eternal, and that life cannot end.
Despite the devil’s raging, it never can be quenched.
We have a mighty victor! Though Satan seems to win,
already he’s defeated, for Jesus conquered him.
Though darkness reigns,
His hope makes our hearts rejoice and sing:
Christ is the final Victor, from death His realm will spring.
For after persecution and judgment, there will be
a mighty move of God and a great awakening.
On earth will be a foretaste of heaven’s realm of light,
where Father, Son and Spirit are ever glorified.
